Over 33 Thousand Tons of Harvest: Qushtepa District First in the Region to Fulfill Cotton Plan

Cotton growers of Qushtepa district, Fergana region, became the first in the province to fulfill their contractual cotton production target.

A decisive factor behind this milestone was the effective utilization of advanced agricultural machinery and comprehensive harvesting mechanization.

This season, cotton was cultivated across 6,400 hectares, with total raw cotton harvest exceeding 33,000 tons. Leading farms recorded yields surpassing 55–60 centners per hectare.

A vital contribution was made by modern cotton harvesting machines delivered via JSC "Uzagroleasing". Notably, 20 harvesters acquired over the past two years facilitated rapid, efficient, and zero-loss picking.

The accomplishment in Qushtepa represents a compelling demonstration of how combining advanced agrotechnology, high-performance machinery, and dedicated labor produces outstanding outcomes.
