Peak season in cotton fields: 3.4 million tons of harvest gathered
The pace of fieldwork across cotton plantations is accelerating daily. Farmers, machine operators, and agricultural workers are maximizing every hour to gather the crop without losses.
As of October 12, 2026, 3.4 million tons of raw cotton have been harvested nationwide, representing 76% of the 4.5-million-ton seasonal contract target.
High-capacity machinery plays a decisive role: while 848,000 tons were handpicked, 2.6 million tons (75% of the total harvest) were collected using cotton harvesters.
Nearly 3,000 advanced harvesters are deployed in the fields, with 957 units delivered to farmers and agroclusters by "Uzagroleasing" JSC during this year alone.
Daily records confirm high efficiency: on October 12, harvesters gathered 147,000 tons, averaging 50 tons per machine.
