JICA: It is crucial to implement the Environmental and Social Management System in practice and develop an action plan for gender equality.
Yesterday, the Joint Stock Company “O’zagrolizing” organized its second training session on the practical implementation of the Environmental and Social Management System and gender equality issues. The training was conducted in collaboration with the International Center for Strategic Development, Food, and Agriculture Research (ISCAD) and the “Promotion of Value Chains in Horticulture” project. Participants included employees from the central office and regional branches of the organization.
During the training, employees attended lectures on assessing and mitigating environmental and social risks, ensuring gender equality, and applying the necessary knowledge and skills in practice.
A key part of the seminar was the development of an action plan for gender equality. The speakers highlighted challenges in implementing gender initiatives and addressed critical aspects of the project through practical exercises.
The organized seminar aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of employees, enabling them to develop more effective strategies in environmental, social, and gender equality matters, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact.
