“Open Doors Day” was held.
According to the statement of the National Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Combating Corruption, in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan and International Anti-Corruption Day, celebrated on December 9, an “Open Doors Day” event is being held across all organizations.
In this regard, the joint-stock company “Uzagrolizing” also hosted an event with the participation of employees from the central office and regional branches, as well as the Chairman of the Board, N. Otajonov.
At the event, Jahongir Nurmatjonovich Bokiev, Head of the Constitutional Law Department at Tashkent State University of Law, delivered lectures on the topics “My Constitution is 32 years old” and “Corruption — the enemy of progress.” The Constitution is the main law of the state, establishing the legal foundation of society and the state structure. It regulates the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, the system of state governance, and the primary principles of political, economic, and social life.
Additionally, the Chairman of the Board, N. Otajonov, addressed the audience, highlighting that, like in other fields, the leasing sector is taking necessary measures to combat and prevent corruption. He emphasized that information on the procedures for public procurement and available job vacancies is regularly published on the organization’s official pages, which is one of the key aspects of digitalizing the sector.
Moreover, the event provided participants with necessary clarifications, supported by specific facts and examples, on combating corruption, preventing crimes, and completely eliminating factors such as fraud and extortion in the sector. Special attention was given to the importance of preventing corruption and other offenses in our society and to the principle that punishment for crimes is inevitable, as required by law.
